Spare parts supply:
The main customers concern
In addition to exclusive local stock for contracts with parts coverage, see how our multi-source sourcing strategy increases access and speed of supply:
JM VELLAME was founded in 2018 with the mission to offer services and products with quality and regulatory rigor for the Brazilian healthcare market.
The company was founded by Julio Vellame, initially for Eckert & Ziegler sales representation in the North, Northeast and Midwest Brazil regions, as well as maintenance of Nuclear Medicine equipment.
A frist class maintenance department depends on an interconnected structure with a single purpose: Serve the customer's business.
In addition to exclusive local stock for contracts with parts coverage, see how our multi-source sourcing strategy increases access and speed of supply:
Do not confuse part manufacturer with equipment manufacturer. Electronic boards, computers, motors and servo motors are not manufactured by GEHC, Siemens, Canon, Philips etc. They they come from specialized manufacturers who are willing and happy to sell.
As a result of a more mature market, the United States has several warehouses with the same ISO 13485:2016 quality certification as equipment manufacturers.
The only option for traditional maintenance service providers, parts can still be purchased from equipment vendors.
*We are authorized by ANVISA and the Federal Revenue to import parts for medical equipment. Do not accept items illegally brought to Brazil or of dubious origin in your health service.
We believe that regardless the size of the company, it should be organized in line with good corporate governance (in addition to our direct team, we have service contractors approved in compliance with Art 2.3 - RDC 16/2013)

To legally provide maintenance services for medical equipment in Brazil, the comapny must be up to date with its obligations and comply with the local VISA and ANVISA Federal. Every supplier must be approved in the health service quality system. ANVISA has even pacified the issue in the sense that the health service is autonomous and responsible, according to RDC No. 02/2010, to carry out the risk management of the equipment installed in its institution.
Importing parts does not require DDR (declaration by the registration holder). Only parts of the equipment are approved by ANVISA. (NOTA TÉCNICA Nº 23/2020/SEI/GCPAF/GGPAF/DIRE5/ANVISA)
The SLAs (Service Level Agreement - service time) depends on the area. As soon as you open a dispacth, we open a communication channel for continuous update about the status of the equipment.
We usually quote 3-month warranty for parts and services, considering the same defect and symptom in the equipment. For hourly base services, the warranty is for parts only.
For parts in stock Brazil we deliver in approximately 72 hours. For imported parts the average express time (FEDEX, DHL) is approximately 7 days. For conventional area import the average time is 20 days.
